Equine Assisted Learning

The uniqueness of equine assisted activities lies in the similarities and connections made between the horse and human. If you suffer with a physical, cognitive, emotional, or behavioral disability equine assisted services can help.

Whether you want to learn the basics of horse care and riding, develop relationships through groundwork, or simply improve your mental wellbeing, we can help.

Classes are generally held year-round Tuesday-Friday in five to six week sessions. There are one to two week breaks in between sessions.

Certified Instructors
Our instructors hold current certifications through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International credentialing program (for more information see pathintl.org).  This means the instructors follow field tested standards to ensure the highest levels of safety, ethics and effectiveness in this industry.

Meet Natalie (Tully) Swanner

Tully, owner, Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor/Mentor through PATH Intl.

Starting out as a volunteer in the therapeutic riding world at age 13, I never imagined that one day I would own a business in the equine industry. Through this journey my faith has been tested to what seems like its limit, however, I am reminded daily that with God, all things are possible and I am but a vessel unto his handy work. My passion and joy lie in helping others thrive and find their inner strength, no matter what their physical, behavioral, or cognitive limitations may be.  I truly believe in equine assisted activities, as I have seen firsthand how it can break through life's barriers and restore those who are empty. I received my PATH (then NARA) certification in 2009 and went on to become a mentor in this field.

Meet Brandilyn (Bambi) Wilson

Bambi, Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor through PATH Intl.
The property has several horse obstacles that build trust. We have horse stairs and a teeter totter and plans for more.

Graduating with a bachelor's in Education/Psychology with an emphasis in School Guidance Counseling, my first career was the Dean of a boarding academy. My passion for the youth, my love of horses and their unique abilities to teach us has led me down this new path in life. I received my PATH certification in October 2023. The best piece of advice I've received is, "When God calls you to do something your only answer is, 'Yes sir'."
